I have previous experience working as the operations trainer for Keeling’s retail in St. Margaret’s road. The packhouse employees over 1200 people and I was completely responsible for design, implementation and delivery all of the operations training in keeling retail. In my time with Keeling’s I have created a number of training programmes and S.O.P’s. Some of these procedures involve validating the performance and creating brand awareness of our staff. One of the main projects i have carried out was the introduction of a formal and structured team leader induction process. The programme I developed for our team leaders works on the areas of communication, motivation and organisation skills, time management as well as company SOP and software and operating systems training. I trained all staff in food safety, health and safety, person protective equipment procedures and manual handling. I am a QQI level 6 manual handling instructor and also a QQI level 4 food safety trainer.
