* As part of the Marine Team in an engineering consultancy firm I help manage selected contracts during the pre-contract stage. The scope of these projects consists mainly of the dredging & reclamation of landmasses, the shoreline protection works and the related investigations and studies required for these contracts. * My responsibilities include the following: * Liaising with Ministry (Govt) clients - emails, phone calls, drafting correspondence, attending   * nbsp * nbsp * meetings (incl. taking minutes) * Assisting with resolution of technical and contractual matters * Coordination with cost consultants * Basic planning and programming of project * Coordinating the compilation of documents - design reports, technical specifications,   * nbsp * nbsp * contract/tender documentation, BoQs, tender assessment reports etc * Use of various software packages - MS Office (Excel, Word, Project), AutoCAD, Surfer * Basic analysis of geo-technical information and modelling studies

* On-site QS. * My main role is to compile and submit the monthly payment certificates, which entails: * keeping records of, and monitoring, the daily work done, * recording materials received and used, * compiling any cash flow projections required with the certificates. * I help with setting up Construction Programmes, and general site and works planning. * I also do most of the network administration for our small office network, and general IT-related issues and troubleshooting

Qualified as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer for Windows 2000 (MCSE 2000) in 2001
