Dylan Neel, MD PhD

Dylan is a neurology resident at the Mass General Brigham program. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College (A.B in Neurobiology) and earned an M.Phil in Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge as a Herchel-Smith Scholar. He received his MD and PhD from Harvard Medical School, where he studied innate immune signaling pathways in neurodegeneration and pain. Dylan's academic work has appeared in Neuron, Nature Neuroscience and Cell. His current research interests center on neurodegenerative disease pathology and biomarkers During grad school, Dylan worked as an investment fellow at Bain Capital Life Sciences and Vida Ventures, where he helped evaluate therapeutics opportunities. Dylan writes Biomarker—a monthly newsletter that profiles leaders in science, medicine and biotech.
