Leads the development of new products and processes. Oversees FSC compliance and sustainability, ensuring the company adheres to Forest Stewardship Council standards for responsible forestry. This includes developing sustainability strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing corporate social responsibility efforts, and managing FSC Chain of Custody compliance. Acts in a liaison capacity between sales and operations regarding customer issues and works directly with customers on product application opportunities. Reports directly to the CEO.

Engineered Wood facility producing LVL Header, LVL Flanged I-Joist & Solid Sawn Flanged I-Joist. In addition to finished products, the facility also has two veneer dryers and finger joint processing plant. The Technical Manager, oversees the company's engineered wood products quality assurance program, leads new product/process development and takes a lead role in continuing improvement efforts. Reports directly to plant manager.

Identify and categorize all key process variables, establish sampling techniques and Statistical Process Control Charts (SPC) for each KPV,Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) and analyze associated trials conducted on processes to determine ways to reduce variation and cost, provide leadership in getting process changes (new equipment, new processes, and projects) implemented and up to performance expectations.

Interfaced with customers to provide technical support enabling implementation of wire, cable, and components. Responsible for compliance with ISO 9001. Prior to 2013 Williamsport was registered ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 using and integrated management system. Worked with EHS Manager to maintain management system and complete compliance audits. Resolved Customer Feedback issues with product including customer visits. Responsible for new product/process development on bare and covered wire process. Implemented spark testing as lean throughput improvement for wet tank testing. Responsible for tool and die shop. Developed new print pre-treatment flame design in Roseburg and implemented as one of two best practice methods in cable division. Performed airframe and power plant maintenance on T-33, KC135, and B-52 aircraft. Located problem with technical orders for nose gear lubrication of KC135 aircraft (problem root cause of the crash of tail number #1499 KC135 aircraft). Promoted to night-shift supervisor Aero-repair W/T shop 1989.
