In this role, I oversee the company’s overall employer brand strategy focusing on talent acquisition, driver recruitment, marketing, and operations & business development for BEST Driving Academy.

As Director of Talent and HR, I was responsible for leading all talent attraction and driver retention efforts across all business lines within BLG. I oversaw our HR group, along with our Talent Acquisition and Driver Recruiting Teams, while partnering with our leadership teams to help them identify the right talent for their teams, and support their efforts for employee development. I specialized further in benefits administration, compliance, payroll process, streamlined onboarding efforts, employee engagement, and total rewards.

In this role with BEST, I was responsible for the onboarding & orientation processes of all new hires within BLG, Recruiting for a variety of company wide positions, and leading the front in driver retention while also helping with employee engagement efforts. In conjunction, I also served as the manager of the driver recruiting department.

As a Recruiter, I am responsible for filling open requisitions for driver roles within our 3 Fleets of BEST Cartage, BEST Dedicated, and BEST Specialized. I hire for local, regional, OTR, and Dedicated roles across these companies. I also proactively engage in weekly New Hire Onboarding, Driver Retention, create job advertisements and marketing for our array of positions, and work to actively keep our drivers engaged, offering them continued support in their new careers at BEST post hire.

As a Recruiter and Staffing Consultant with PeopleLINK, I was responsible for supporting clients across a wide range of industries (light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, technical) to connect with incredible talent to support their business.
