Lead RFQ for HD (Hight Definition) Map to support BMW L3 Autonomous Driving in China Region; Lead RFQ for Android Navigation SDK and Location Based Services for BMW next generation Head Unit in China; Lead RFQ for 5G MNO (Mobile Network Operator) Tender and Personal eSIM Tender for BMW China; Consolidate public cloud request including Connected Car Cloud, AD Cloud, Corporate IT Cloud across all BMW China legal entities and lead strategic cooperation and negotiation with China cloud providers; Competency Management for BMW/BBA Digital Purchasing Department in China; Overall manage interns to support the whole team for tasks such as market research, workshop arrangement and business steering.

o Communicate with potential customer including OEM and tier 1 supplier for power lift gate control module business opportunities o Analyze RFI/RFQ documents and propose optimized solution for customer on power lift gate control module product o Supervise power lift gate control module research, production and project management to deliver high quality products to customer o Develop new power closure controller products for ADAS applicaiton such as power side door module with open alarm and obstacle detection

o Establish power lift gate control module software architecture tailored on AUTOSAR o Integrate power lift gate control module software components including CAN communication stack, Diagnostic, Application, Bootloader, etc o Review power lift gate control module hardware design and improve hardware performance over three generations o Compose power lift gate control module system DFMEA o Support several power lift gate control module projects as customer representative and technical leader until SOP o Apply technical patents and authorized 4 invention patents until now

o Develop control algorithm for power lift gate control module to meet European and US regulation based on Simulink model and perform rapid prototyping test o Implement power lift gate control algorithm in Freescale S32K MCU with C code o Calibrate power lift gate control algorithm on test rig and actual vehicle for field test o Standardize power lift gate control algorithm for platform design and compose activity procedures

Work as the primary fuel system specific controls (FSSC) group application support for 2017 North American market Heavy Duty program o Deliver FSSC calibration content on time per platform team’s desired method o Provide software integration instructions to platform team when new FSSC software releases are available o Carefully coordinate with the platform teams to identify schedule risks and evaluate risks appropriately o Complete On Board Diagnostics (OBD) reviews for each diagnostic assigned per platform team’s schedule o Troubleshoot emissions and diagnostic issues in test cells and emissions tests promptly as they arise. o When requested and possible, work with CPE engineer to optimize FSSC tuning for improved emissions/performance tradeoffs o Coordinate with fuel system hardware team liaisons to identify and meet platform team’s requirements Address warranty issues and field failures related to fuel systems o Support or lead rig/engine/vehicle testing as needed for problem resolution o Coordinate and track any software or calibration change related to the issue o Document issue resolution as appropriate. Update and revise FSSC activity procedures Assist Cummins Fuel System business in the development of new fuel system hardware o Provide technical assessment of fuel system hardware when requested o Support prototype development with custom calibration/software o Enable hardware testing on rigs and test stands with custom calibrations and software
