I founded a company in New York City with a focus on industrial flooring, despite the challenges of a difficult market. Through my experience, leadership, and industry knowledge, I built a successful company from scratch and became one of the top flooring contractors in the Big Apple, with a turnover of $3.5 million. Our fully automated equipment, highest efficiencies, and innovative technologies enabled us to secure our place in the world's most competitive area. We have worked on various construction projects in Manhattan, including installing self-levelers in high-rise buildings, polishing large retail spaces, and renovating several well-known offices in NYC.

I introduced polished concrete to the Ukrainian market using a pioneering approach, and it led to the development of a new market and increased interest in the technology. We achieved top-rated positions in the installation of polished concrete and completed projects with some of the largest GCs near Kyiv, covering an area of 2 large warehouses of over 1.5 million ft2 total. I also popularized the use of super flat concrete floor technology, which is jointless and has leave-in-place joint protection, with the largest section covering 25,000 ft2 without any saw cuts. I established my own brand, DUOMIT, which produces self-levelers, overlays, and underlayments for the Ukrainian market, with a production facility in Kyiv. The company had a turnover of over $5M.

We specialized in creating high-quality flooring solutions that are in high demand. Our services included SuperFlat concrete floors, polished and decorative concrete, fiber reinforcement, and external slabs. We use patented, safe solutions and proprietary automatic equipment, along with specialized processes, to ensure our clients receive easy-to-maintain solutions that will last for years to come.

The Association of Industrial Flooring Contractors serves as the representative body for Specialist Contractors who work on constructing concrete industrial floors. Our association brings together contractors, material suppliers, and service providers, with the key objective of raising the standards in flooring technology. Our members are pioneers in design, materials, and construction techniques, and pour around 1 million m² of concrete every year. As a result of our breadth of representation, our association is unparalleled in providing concrete industrial flooring experience.

I started a branch from scratch and successfully climbed to the top of the market. My main focus was on selling PANBEX dry-shakes from the Czech Republic (eventually acquired by Sika), which reinforce the top layer of concrete. I became the market leader during 2006-2008, with a total installed volume of over 3M m2 of concrete dry-shake floors.
