Trained as an Actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, 1982-84 then worked consistently in the theatre for 20 years. From 1996 increasingly worked as a director. A founder member of 'the Lions part' The need to work on Climate Change re-prioritised my life in 2006 and I started Transition Town Brixton in 2007 - about engaging everyone to vision, plan and pioneer a local pathway to a low energy future, that is BETTER than the present, in the process building a reskilled, resilient, interconnected community. This has been my work (largely voluntary) since then. I became a father of Eliza in 2011 and Seamus in 2013. I have lived in Brixton for 30 years.

The focus of my work is taking Biofuelwatch's campaign, warning of the extreme dangers of adopting bio-energy as a solution to climate change and energy depletion, to the decision-makers. That involves reaching out to policy makers and investors.
