A native of Haiti, Mr. Saint Louis grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida, and graduated from Dillard Center for the Performing Arts. He attended Morehouse College where he earned a B.A. in Political Science, graduating with honors and was inducted into the Delta of Georgia Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Saint Louis focuses primarily in the areas of Criminal Defense, Civil Rights, Family Law, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation. Prior to establishing Ducarmel Saint Louis, P.A., he was a Senior Associate with The Arias Law Group, P.A., representing doctors, clinics and other medical providers throughout the State of Florida in breach of contract lawsuits. Before going into private practice, Mr. Saint Louis was a Lead Felony Prosecutor with the State Attorney's Office for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County, where he prosecuted 1st Degree Felonies and Felonies Punishable by Life in Prison. Mr. Saint Louis has acquired extensive experience in both civil litigation and criminal law during the course of his legal career, trying over 25 jury trials and over 100 non-jury trials. Mr. Saint Louis serves as a tutor and mentor with the Man of Tomorrow Program, Zeta Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. His other community service endeavors include presentations on police interactions with youth organizations in Dade and Broward counties.
