Web Application Developer - Developing new web applications and supporting those that are already in production. - Outlining customer's needs and expectations for developing web applications. - Development is done in Microsoft's .NET Environment. Programming languages used are primarily C#, ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript and SQL. - Applications are generally database driven primarily with Oracle databases and/or with SQL Server databases as well. - Current web applications in production focus on the processing and auditing of utility payment files, calculating flow for water charges for large water users, online tracking for a back flow prevention program, creating and maintaining service orders and maintaining water meter inventory. Database Programming - SQL and PL/SQL programming primarily in Oracle 10g with some limited experience in Oracle 11g as well. - Some experience with SQL and T-SQL programming in SQL Server. - Programming centers around developing queries, procedures and functions for database driven web applications. - Administration experience which includes the development of data tables for database schema for various data layouts. Neptune Software Administration - Deploying and maintaining Neptune software and systems for use in the reading of Neptune water meters and Itron electric meters. - Administering settings which include meter types and read types to ensure proper validation with our data processing vendor. - Providing on demand data log reports for water usage. - Versioning Neptune software on PC as well as on handheld and mobile meter reading devices. - Testing of new technology which includes stand alone meter reading devices that transmit reads by way of cellular modem to an ftp site for processing.
