Appointed to provide executive leadership and direction to in-country teams that support underwriters in handling their accounts across all lines of business. Beyond this, I also lead country / cluster-based initiatives by providing subject matter expertise across business analysis, reporting, change and project management. Key highlights: • Lead the EMEA team of country operations managers and associated teams in conjunction with managing and transitioning the COO Global Specialty role. • Executed strategic plan for organisational restructuring, transition to offshore teams and process automation with AIG’s BPO Accenture. • Led the business review of project delivery planning and governance to rebuild momentum in delivery of a strategic project to implement a new UW platform across 17 countries in EMEA and 6 different product lines. • Established business architecture roadmap for the region and developed model to better align operating models / technical capabilities per business segment (large corporate, SME, personal lines).

I owned and led the transformation and change delivery function globally for AXA XL from demand intake, business case development, prioritization and implementation, managing the change portfolio across the projects’ full lifecycle. Beyond this, I led technology and operations integration efforts into AXA following the announcement of the acquisition of XL Catlin in 2018. Key highlights: • Delivered post-merger integration program for Global Technology following the acquisition by AXA Group. • Designed and implemented a global Change Engagement model for demand management, prioritisation, and project portfolio management and governance across AXA XL. • Directed the global digital transformation for multinational business across four lines of business with built-in data validations. • Oversaw FP&A team responsible for financial planning, budgeting and variance analysis for the Operations & Technology function. • Appointed to AXA XL Partner in Q4 2019.

• Led Insurance Operations workstream during XL’s acquisition of Catlin and implemented a new post-merger operating model, delivering run-rate synergies. • Global project portfolio insurance segment lead for project intake, prioritisation, and change delivery. • Created governance to ensure prioritisation of annual investments in line with strategy with key dependencies understood and transparent across the portfolio. • As a Global Technology lead team member, contributed expertise and led Insurance system transformation and platform strategy development (from current state to target structure). • Oversaw financial planning for the global Insurance Platform Office and simplified budgeting process for IT projects thereby increasing strategic flexibility on potential cost savings opportunities. • Led projects in Multinational Programs and Private Clients, including geographic expansion into the Middle East and product rollouts in War/Political Risk and K&R enabling their business growth.

Supporting Enterprise Operations in terms of global project management, knowledge & education, business enablement, financial performance & analysis/analytics as well as operational risk management and DQ function.

As Regional Operations Manager, I managed operations across Iberia/LatAm, Austria, and Asia which included the company’s network partner management hubs for its multinational business. Key highlights: • Led projects to set up new operations / entities in emerging markets including China and Brazil. • Directed offshoring programs to shared services in India, achieving operational efficiencies across several functions. • Designed and implemented a global internal control framework, including SOX controls across Operations.
