Dr. Niyati Chitkara

I am Dr Niyati Chitkara, Director, Chitkara International School, Chandigarh & Panchkula. In the school milieu, I put great emphasis on a student-centred teaching approach and work towards devising strategies that lead in student development. My goal is to instil integrity, self-worth, and confidence in young learners and prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead in their life. I have acquired a rich experience of 18 years in the field of Education. I have completed my Doctorate in School-Based Assessment, including Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. I hold several educational accolades, including being a topper in the M.Ed program at Panjab University. I was among the top ten rank holders during my Bachelor of Education and a gold medalist in my Master of Commerce and Business Administration. Additionally, I serve as an External Expert for the Board of Studies of Bachelor of Education at Chitkara College of Education. I am also the author of the book "Assessment Quotient - Efficient and Effective School Learning Paradigms for Generation Z and Generation Alpha Learners", which has been published by the renowned German publishing house, Lambert Academic Publishing. Adding to this, I am a certified trainer for various programmes such as the IB Primary Year Programme, Inlingua International School of Languages, and Business English Courses through the British Council. I have also been recognised and certified by organisations such as CAER, Pearson, Infosys, and CBSE-CAER for my expertise in designing assessments and writing multiple-choice items. Furthermore, I was a speaker at the CBSE-CAER International Conference 2014 held in New Delhi. I am dedicated to providing quality education and have achieved great success in my endeavours. My commitment to my students and their education is evident in the progress they have made under my guidance. I strive to inspire and empower my students to reach their full potential. Furthermore, I am passionate about implementing innovative educational practices and integrating technology in the schools to enhance student engagement and learning. I am also dedicated to staying current with the latest research and trends in education. I strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of my students. Overall, my goal is to empower students to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens who can make a positive impact on the society.
