With over 10 years of experience in healthcare quality and safety, I am passionate about improving patient outcomes, enhancing clinical performance, and achieving accreditation excellence. I have a Master's of Healthcare Quality and Safety from Harvard Medical School, and I am currently a Senior Quality Systems Specialist at New Mowasat Hospital, one of the leading private hospitals in Kuwait. In my current role, I have successfully planned and prepared for three triannual re-accreditation cycles by JCI and ACI, and led the project of establishing a dialysis center in compliance with JCI requirements. I also conduct scientific audits, system tracers, clinical case reviews, and monitor compliance with international standards and best practices. Additionally, I identify training needs for clinical staff and deliver training on performance improvement concepts, principles, and tools. Some of the skills that I use in my daily work are quality patient care, patient safety, dental care, healthcare risk management, and lean methodology.
