This is a 1-year program that introduced students to satellite telecommunications technologies involving Geosynchronous broadcast satellites. It involved a 6-month of extensive pedagogical studies and a 6-month industrial placement. Among the topics covered include satellite subsystems, orbits, link budget, DVB-RCS protocols, digital communications, forward error corrections, signal processing etc.
