I co-led the Product Design team at Quip, a Salesforce company, adding new functionality to and improving the user experience of our collaborative productivity suite.

I joined Quip as a Product Designer when Salesforce acquired my software startup. As a designer, I worked on numerous features across the productivity suite including on Documents, Search, Navigation, Live Apps, Slides, and Live Paste.

I co-founded Unity&Variety with Joey Flynn, where we created Pinchworm (pinchworm.com), a fun and fast-paced mobile game. After Pinchworm, we started work on a skunkworks-style presentation app that led to our acquisition by Salesforce, where we joined Quip to continue our work.

Between 2013–2015, I managed the Paper and Slingshot design teams and co-created Origami, Facebook Design's prototyping toolkit. I also led the design team for Protect and Care, a team that turns around bad experiences (for example, having your account hacked or seeing content that shouldn't be on Facebook). Between 2011–2013, I managed the design teams for Messenger, Photos, and Search and the design team for Facebook Home.

I designed Messages (2009–2010), Questions (early 2011), and co-designed Timeline (2011).
