As the founder of Essential Living Foods with excellent farming relationships and ELF's existing suppliers + extensive experience with organic farming and innovative food processing technologies, My Roles and Responsibilities were: • Strengthen and expand upon relationships with current suppliers • Source and supply first to market innovations in plant nutrition (indigenous raw superfoods, medicinals, extracts, et cetera) • Assist vendors to continually improve their post-harvest processing techniques to improve yields and quality • Strengthen loyalty of vendors to BeOn through relationship management, technology transfer, and long term contracts • Source new products as needed, • Perform onsite quality inspections of vendor farms as needed • Develop highest standards of performance (processing and procurement) for the supplier’s base of operations • Sets standards for managing third-party relationships & vendors for highest returns while furthering the development of Social Enterprise Programs at source • Advise on market trends • Attract investment from NGOs and Social Investment Funds to benefit our vendors and their communities, and ultimately ELF, with better quality, yields, and innovative products.
