Dr. Yasar Nelliyot Kavil

Dr. Yasar N Kavil is a young scientist in the field of environmental chemistry and marine chemistry. He has a good experience in the environmental analysis and the impact assessment studies. During his carrier he was involved in the various Oceanic, Marine and Freshwater cruises and samplings. He has actively involved in the various monitoring and assessment project includes, ‘Establishment of west Asia regional center for persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in Kuwait’, ‘Kuwait National Implementation Plan to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants’. Currently he is involving as a Consultant in the various projects at SCRC-Kuwait, serving as the Consultant for Sultanate of Oman and State of Palestine for updating and implementation of their NIP under the obligations of SC and Consultation work at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He is also serving as the Steering Committee Member of SCRC-Kuwait. He has a good knowledge in the handling of various instruments (GC, GC-MS, Spectrophotometer, ICP-AES, AAS, Auto analyzer, Voltammetry etc.). He has published a good numbers papers (30+) in the international reputed journals.
