Dr. William Kwabena adjei Twumasi

William Adjei-Twumasi is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in financial and educational management. He holds an International Executive Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Paris Graduate School of Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from GIMPA. His distinguished career spans several decades, during which he has held prominent leadership positions, including National General Secretary of the Association of Education Accountants Ghana (2009), Chairman of the Finance Committee and 1st National Trustee of the Teachers and Educational Workers' Union (TEWU), and Board Member of Akuapem Rural Bank PLC (appointed in June 2015). Furthermore, he served as Regional and National Treasurer of the Association of Rural Banks, among other significant roles. Dr. Adjei-Twumasi's remarkable contributions to society have earned him numerous accolades, including an Honorary Doctorate Degree conferred by the Accreditation for Christian Colleges & Seminaries (AICCS), USA, in August 2013. His unwavering dedication to excellence was further recognized with the National Best Worker Award in Ghana in 2019. With over 28 years of managerial experience in the educational financial sector, He has served as a Finance Officer, Bursar, and Accountant, culminating in his retirement in 2021 as Finance Officer of the Presbyterian College of Education. He remains actively engaged in public service, lending his expertise to various committees of public associations and institutions, exemplifying his steadfast commitment to leadership, governance, and societal development.
