Dr. Johnson, an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at Harper College, is an expert in organized crime, homicide investigations, criminal profiling, gang crimes, violence in the workplace, security issues. Dr. Johnson was granted tenure in 2010. Dr. Johnson started his Law Enforcement career with the Chicago Police Department where he served for 25 years with distinction. He was the Chief Investigator for the Chicago Crime Commission and Superintendent of Police in Cicero, Illinois. He has been an adjunct faculty member at several Chicago area universities since 1992. Besides being a law-enforcement executive, he teaches, works as an investigative and training consultant for law enforcement and the security industry and as an organized crime authority.
