Experienced academic leader, Mechanical Engineering expert with over 34 years of combined teaching, research, and industry experience. Currently serving as the Principal of Vemana Institute of Technology, Bangalore, I am committed to academic excellence, institutional growth, and fostering innovation in engineering education. My research focuses on the materials and structures for the design of impact energy absorbers subjected to low and medium velocity impact loads. Indigenously developed state-of-the-art R&D test facilities. I have guided multiple Ph.D., PG, and UG research projects, published in reputed journals and conferences, and led national-level initiatives in curriculum development, accreditation, and industry-academia collaboration. I take pride in having established centres of excellence in impact engineering, business incubation Centre, and impactful research infrastructure that contribute to student success and delivering quality technical education.
