I worked on defining the value proposition of a regional network for Decentralized Renewable Energy known as StANCE (South Asia Network for Clean Energy) in South Asia . My work involved conducting a pre-feasibility analysis for a regional network to promote energy cooperation among the South Asian nations to ensure energy access and energy efficiency. I conducted extensive literature survey to understand the potential of clean energy in South Asia and the existing networks in the area. Apart from this I have also prepared the bye-laws, detailed business plan, stakeholder engagement plan and conducted a logical framework analysis for StANCE (South Asia Network for Clean Energy).

I worked on an on-going project Doh-Bin-an initiative to promote source segregation of waste. I analysed the entire MSW chain in Delhi-NCR through interactions with members of CPCB, and RWA’s, recycling industries, NGO’s, end-users, and waste collectors. Also, implemented practice of waste segregation in DLF Phase IV, Gurgaon, and achieved 50% segregation levels within 1 month of project implementation. A report titled, ‘Municipal Solid Waste Management: Understanding the Ground Realities’ was successfully completed during the course of the internship. The work was highly appreciated by the external supervisor and the university professors.
