* Developing a business plan and costing for the pharmacy course * Engaging with the LETC with regard to commissioning students to the college * Interaction with hospital trusts and chief pharmacists to discuss student progress and development * Ensuring I am a role model to students and fellow pharmacist lecturers * Careful planning linked to clear objectives during the year * High level of interaction with other college lectures and management teams * Recognising achievements from students and appreciating boundaries of students * Guide the team to deliver the syllabus on time

*  Key opportunity to assist pharmacists in their learning when studying for a diploma. *  Engaging with pharmacists on problem-based learning *  Reviewing the overall content of some modules ensuring it is manageable and up-to-date *  Networking skills with other tutors and students *  Need for excellent writing skills. As I have to provide written comment to the students. Distant learners miss the face to face feedback. *  Excellent time management skills as marked batches of work are to be returned to students with in a deadline

* Organise LPC meetings and business * Engage in dialogue and negotiate at all levels within the CCG , NHSE and other relevant bodies * Promote community pharmacy as a quality based service committed to improving patient care * Line manage LPC support staff * Help define and develop locally commissioned enhanced services provided by community pharmacists * Promote community pharmacy and raise the profile across the whole health economy * Support community pharmacy contractors and their staff in the development and maintenance of services * Work closely with the CCG and NHSE and any other commissioning bodies on the planning of local pharmacy services
