Position: Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer. Amman-Jordan, Aug 2008 till April 2011. Responsibilities: •Working as a Control and SCADA Engineer in the Telecommunication and Control Department (11 KV, 33 KV, 132 KV, and 400 KV). •Performing site survey in order to prepare all the required materials before the installation of control devices. •Installing control devices RTUs (Remote Terminal Units):RTU560, Collector 400, and ollector 100, GPS, and UPS in the field. • Creating the suitable configuration file to get all the digital indications and analogue measurements from the substations to the national control center (Master Station) and deliver the digital commands from the master station to the RTUs in the substations. •Configuring and adapting the telecommunication channels: analog and digital, fiber and PLC that link the remote devices in the field with master station. •Troubleshoot and diagnostic the IEC 101 and IEC 104 protocols. •Performing a routine preventive maintenance visits to substations to enhance the reliability and efficiency. •Work under demand for any urgent situation 24 hours.. •Participating in the control installation project which aims to install new RTU in new substation and replacing old ones. Site survey for the new substation is performed firstly. Then we choose and deliver the suitable RTU to the field and start the wiring task. Finally, we test all the points, measurements and commands of the RTU and do the commissioning with field engineer in order to engage the substation in service in the following substations: University, Samra (Connected to generation station), and Madaba.
