I am the Division Chair for all departmental and university responsibilities pertaining to the administration of the Division of Social, Behavioral & Global Studies of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the California State University, Monterey Bay. I was unanimously elected by the faculty of the SBGS in the spring of 2016, however, my tenure did not formally begin until after a fall 2016 sabbatical. Responsibilities include oversight and supervision of day to day operations, budgets, faculty and staff hires, fundraising, and weekly meetings with faculty, staff, students, and key campus administrators and program officers.
