Career update: I’ve been promoted at Ariel University to Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor). This milestone encapsulates my academic journey since publishing my first paper in 2012—in many ways, it is a summary of 13 years of research, learning, and steady iteration. The last three years at Ariel University have been especially intense—in the best possible sense. I’ve had the privilege to research and create alongside people I deeply respect, both professionally and personally. I’m proud to say that I only work with my friends, in the sense that I make my colleagues my friends. My work continues to focus on applied AI—building methods and systems that hold up under real constraints (data, operations, policy, and deployment). I’m grateful to the colleagues, collaborators, and students who helped shape this path, and I’m excited to keep expanding the research agenda and partnerships ahead. Also, my first M.Sc. student just graduated last week—but his thesis (on RAG optimizations) deserves a separate post.
