 Nearly 14+years of experience across wide gamut of functions including Hospital Infection control, Patient safety, Quality, Assessor (NABH/QCI), Accreditations (JCI/NABH/ ISO/NIAHO)  Currently working with Breach Candy Hospital Trust, Mumbai as Manager Quality & Patient Safety working exclusively in Medical Operations Quality &Patient safety. Currently also the Patient Safety Officer & Risk Manager and co-ordinates various activities of Safety committee such as Fire & Security, Employee safety .  Leads the various Patient Safety initiatives , Clinical quality QIPs ( Medication Safety , Clinical audits of Patient safety and formulated the Patient Safety Manual .  Successful Implementation of Surgical Safety guidelines (WHO) as part of Surgical Safety / redesigning the checklist for Cathlab procedures/Maternity checklist ,endoscopy checklist  Successful assignments of Process Improvement (QIPs) of Patient Fall Prevention, Correct Patient Identification, Blood Transfusion protocol, medication administration process.  Designed the Inpatient feedback forms and reviews and improvements of service quality .  Worked as Infection Control Officer at Breach Candy Hospital from 2007-2012.  Formulated the Hospital Infection Manual based on International guidelines in Universal (Standard ) Precautions, Hand hygiene( WHO) , Biomedical waste management , Needle prick ( Epinet), Surveillance and Analysis of Nosocomial Infections such as SSI/CRBSI/CAUTI/VAP  Participated in Dr. Rosenthal Nosocomial Infection Surveillance Project (INICC Multicenter study retrospective study) for developed nations which is ongoing  Training of staff on incident reporting, medication safety topics, Patient identification, Fall prevention, topics pertaining to patient safety.  Secretory of various committee such as Patient safety Committee (secretary) , Safety Committee Hospital Infection control committee (Ex: Infection control officer), Ethics Committee (member)

Has been for various audits as Co-Assessor for NABH.

Working in capacity of Hospital Infection control officer started the activites of extensive nosocomial surveillance , secondary investigator with INICC(Dr. Rosenthal) ,study in the intensive care, Co authors with various INICC publications .NABH certified Assessor with QCI . Internal auditor for preparing the hospital for NABH accreditation. Extensive trainings , audits in Infection control and patient safety like incident reports etc. Keen interests in all aspects of Patient safety indicators their audits and correction of same to bring about prevention of errors by appilcation of quality tools thus co ordinating the quality department in the hospital.

was responsible for setting up Infection control as a department at such a premier institute which is still known for best infection control policies and lowest infection rates. Laying down infection control policies and extensively training the staff in IC protocols , structuring recommened guideline based surveillance . Was the representative for Infection control department in ISO/NIAHO/JCI accreditations for the hospital.
