I complete MTM and adherence calls and resolve emergent issues and concerns and accurately and efficiently utilize InterCom Plus System to input and review data and verify information for all processed prescriptions. Additionally, I administered vaccinations for routine prevention and travel. • Contact insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve issues related to customer prescription and insurance authorization.

While an intern at Walgreens, I delivered friendly service to pharmacy customers of a large national chain. In this internship, I correctly executed billing and insurance procedures, prepared labels, and counted, poured, and dispensed medications. I checked pharmaceuticals for accuracy prior to dispensing, addressed patient questions, and communicated with medical prescribers for clarification as needed. • Administered routine and travel vaccinations to protect community members from preventable illness.

While serving as an intern in a high-volume retail pharmacy, I properly prepared labels, filled prescriptions, and addressed customer questions and concerns. I ordered brand and prescription medications to reduce client wait time and maximize efficiency, and performed quality control on medication stock. • Educated customers on the importance of medication therapy to support compliance and patient outcomes.
