I am a strategic insurance and risk management professional dedicated to transforming systems through integrity, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership. As the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian National Bureau, ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme, I oversee Nigeria’s participation in the regional cross-border motor insurance programme, ensuring seamless protection for motorists, efficient claims management, and enhanced regional integration across West Africa. Under my leadership, the Bureau continues to strengthen its operational and governance framework, advancing digital transformation, transparency, and stakeholder collaboration. My focus remains on aligning institutional strategy with ECOWAS’ broader objectives while promoting innovation that reinforces public trust and sustainable risk solutions. Prior to my current role, I served as Managing Director/CEO of Davisther Brokers Limited, where I oversaw the firm’s business growth, operational restructuring, and client-service optimization. That tenure deepened my expertise in risk identification, insurance brokerage, and corporate governance, while refining my ability to build resilient business frameworks that withstand volatility and promote long-term stability. Earlier in my career, I held positions in client services, reinsurance, and administrative leadership, experiences that collectively shaped my holistic understanding of the insurance value chain. Academically, I hold advanced degrees in Insurance and Risk Management, complemented by a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and professional certifications including Certified Management Professional (CMP), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC). I am also pursuing a Ph.D. in Risk Management, expanding my scholarly focus on enterprise-wide risk frameworks and sustainable insurance systems. Beyond my executive duties, I am passionate about mentorship, ethical leadership, and human capital development, fostering a new generation of professionals committed to excellence.
