With over 10 years of experience in engineering, sustainability, management, and innovation, I am a futurist and innovator who is passionate about creating workable solutions for the UAE’s digital advancement and future readiness. As the Deputy Manager of Special Projects & Innovation at DEWA, I lead and oversee multiple strategic initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and smart technologies to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and quality of DEWA's services and operations. As a Future Expert, I collaborate with global experts and stakeholders to explore and anticipate the future trends and opportunities, and to design and implement innovative strategies and solutions that support the UAE's vision and goals. My field of expertise is sustainability and innovation, which I have developed through my academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Sustainability & Innovation from the University of Leicester, a M.Sc. in Engineering Systems and Management from Masdar Institute, and a B.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Arizona.
