As a Managing Director of BBB Industries Automotive S.L. & Business Unit Leader of NNP Parts I just enrolled in a new journey in a different segment of the automotive industry. With the main goal to grow the business under the fast, challenging and at the same time very exciting private equity environment I am very thrilled to be part of the BBB family and contribute as much as I can. As the CEO and Chairman of the Management Board at PMG - Powder Metal Goldschmidt, I have been the responsible for developing and driving the implementation of our new Strategic Vision to overcome the E-Mobility thread at one of the global leaders in powder metallurgy. It has been a holistic transformation of the whole company, from its Vision and Strategy to its Organization, Skills and Culture. The main achievement has been to protect and expand certain segments and at the same time diversify (organically and strategically through M&A) its product and customer portfolio enabling the company to expand not only in other segments of the automotive industry but also in outside of it… with the added challenge of several turbulent crises since 2020. This holistic change has been top-down methodically designed & developed but the propper bottom-up implementation has been only possible though the successful company‘s cultural change. With over 25 years of world-wide experience in the automotive, I started in the 3 disciplines of Engineering, moved into Program Management, Sales and since more than 10 years in General Management (starting back in 2014 as the Executive Vice President of the Business Unit Engine and the Managing Director of Hilite Germany GmbH, where I led the development and implementation of cutting-edge products and technologies for the engine market under a Private Equity environment). I have worked in Spain (5 years), France (2 years) and Germany (18 years). Educationally, I am a mechanical engineer with a Ph.D. in hydraulics, speak fluently 5 languages (English, German, Spanish, Catalan and French) and I have completed 2 executive programs at the HBS (Harvard Business School), PLD19 in 2015 and AMP 200 in 2021. Both programs contributed a lot in my personal development (especially the AMP200, which has enhanced my leadership, decision-making, and communication skills). I am a very passionate and at the same time very structured and hands-on leader who seeks for continuing advancing by creating value for all stakeholders (customers, employees, partners, and stakeholders). I am also committed to supporting the social and environmental causes (ESG).
