I am supporting as a Skills Coach on the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

I have been supporting Aston Professional Engineering Centre (APEC) department at Aston University as a Skills & Performance Coach and Professional Supervisor. I have supported the team as a supplier across a number of apprenticeship programmes at Aston University such as: • BEng Professional Engineering • BSc Healthcare Science Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship • PGDip and MSc Professional Engineering • BSc and MSc Digital Technology Solutions • BSc Transport Planning I have supported activities such as: • Skills & Performance Coaching from Level 4 up to level 7: o OTJ hours tracking in line with ESFA guidance o Competence (KSB) Development o Preparation for End Point Assessments (EPA) o Raising awareness of British Values, Prevent and Safeguarding o Checking in on wellbeing/mental health o Planning, scheduling and time management o Preparation for module deliverables/assignments and exams o Monitoring and Helping to Improve Learner Performance on studies and work o Regular reporting using University Systems such as Aptem • Professional Supervision to support Level 7 learners to apply for Chartership • Leading the standardisation of coaching processes across the department as part of an OFSTED consultancy project which included leading a Coach workshop • Leading Time Management Workshops as part of Inductions for Level 4 to 6 learners • Delivering lectures such as Managing and Developing People for Level 7 learners

Mentoring as part of the Women in Business Mentorship Scheme at Sheffield Hallam University.

I have been supporting Aston Business School as a Skills Coach for the Chartered Manager, Digital Marketer and Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship programmes.

PhD in Chemical Engineering with the Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI). Completed in 3.5 years as part of the FP7 Dibanet project funded by the European Commission. PhD thesis title: ‘Pyrolysis and gasification of biomass and acid hydrolysis residues’

Masters’ Research project title: ‘Hydrocarbon and alcohol synthesis by Fischer Tropsch’
