Dr Madhu Manerikar

I am a research professional working on GPCR cell signaling and structural biology. My doctoral work contributed to understanding the role of receptor phosphorylation in driving GPCR-βarrestin interaction, endosomal trafficking, and signaling. My work with conformation selective synthetic intrabodies offers a tool to help re-wire GPCR signaling in order to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes. I have strong knowledge and extensive experience in membrane protein biology, with a special focus on GPCRs. I am quite well versed in diverse biochemical, chemogenetic, and biophysical techniques. I am an extremely motivated individual and a team player. I can adjust to a dynamic work environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. I have strong communication skills with an ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. Skills- Membrane protein chemistry and GPCR signaling.
