In this role I currently: • Develop and execute multi-year global research projects with external university partners (Project Zero at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Boston College) that empower staff to lead inquiry, strengthen evidence informed practice, and deliver scalable professional learning responsive to both whole school priorities and bespoke school needs. • Lead high performing, cross functional teams across regions and time zones, driving collaborative delivery, goal alignment, and high accountability. • Oversee multiple programme budgets, producing business cases, managing financial planning and forecasting, and ensuring efficient delivery of strategic initiatives within defined budgetary and operational constraints. • Manage high value partnerships and contracts, overseeing procurement, contract negotiation, legal agreements, and implementation to ensure strategic alignment and tangible benefit for schools. • Direct development and integration of EdTech solutions, including digital platforms and learning experiences, supporting technology enhanced teaching and learning aligned with school priorities and feedback. • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications teams to ensure strategic programmes strengthen the school value proposition, developing campaigns, case studies, and communications that enhance parent engagement and brand visibility. • Oversee global delivery of the MIT and Juilliard collaborations, managing distributed leadership structures, external stakeholder relationships, and school onboarding and integration to ensure consistently high quality STEAM and Performing Arts experiences through curriculum integration, residential programmes, events, and school visits. • Provide forward thinking educational thought leadership, sharing insights on research, EdTech, and teaching innovation through global conferences, publications, and strategic collaborations, strengthening Nord Anglia’s reputation as a world leading educator.

• Advised and quality assured schools across China and Southeast Asia, supporting senior leaders with self evaluation, safeguarding, reflective leadership, and whole school improvement processes. • Conducted quality assurance review visits across the region, focused on strength of academics, school development planning, curriculum, safeguarding, and delivery of the global educational offer. • Successfully guided NAIS Hong Kong through COBIS Training School accreditation, coordinating evidence submission, leading staff development, and ensuring compliance with all COBIS standards. • Designed and delivered high impact professional development programmes, for international and local teachers, including middle leadership programmes, initial teacher training, and professional learning linked to school improvement priorities. • Built collaborative improvement networks across schools, fostering shared practice, mentoring leadership teams, and establishing communities of practice that strengthened consistency, accountability, and teaching quality.

• Supported the school as a parent governor during Headteacher recruitment, Ofsted inspection and staffing restructure

• Coached and advised leadership teams across primary, secondary, and sixth form settings to strengthen curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, improving student outcomes and the quality of education county wide. • Prepared schools for Ofsted inspection, driving improvement plans aligned with Ofsted recommendations and supporting schools in Special Measures and RI categories to make rapid, sustainable progress. • Led county wide school improvement initiatives, designing and delivering research informed professional learning and curriculum projects for teachers and leaders in 500+ schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. • Developed assessment, planning, and SEND models across phases, raising consistency, expectations, and inclusive practice from early years through to post 16. • Ensured equity of education for all learners, providing targeted support to pupil referral units and a young offender institution to maintain high quality provision for students learning outside mainstream settings.

• Led an 8 teacher English department in a large 1,800 pupil comprehensive, securing strong GCSE outcomes (84% English Literature; 80% English Language A*–C) through high expectations, effective teaching strategies, and robust quality assurance. • Implemented new GCSE specifications (Cambridge IGCSE, AQA English and English Literature), managing change across the department and ensuring consistently high quality curriculum delivery. • Designed a high challenge KS3 curriculum and assessment system in collaboration with linked primary schools, improving pupil progress, transition from Year 6/7, and engagement across KS3. • Strengthened teacher development and capacity by coordinating the whole school ITT programme, mentoring trainees, and building a culture of reflective practice and shared professional learning. • Drove whole school improvement through curriculum development, assessment leadership, and cross phase collaboration, aligning pedagogical approaches from KS2 transition through to GCSE.

• Taught English and English Literature across KS3, GCSE, and AS Level, delivering consistently high quality lessons that supported strong progress and secure subject knowledge across all key stages. • Designed and developed schemes of work and high quality curriculum resources for KS3 and KS4, ensuring clear progression, alignment with whole school curriculum intent, and effective transition from Y6/7. • Supported colleagues with curriculum delivery, professional development, and behaviour management.

Taught English across age groups (early years–adult), gaining early international experience and cultural fluency working in primary and junior high schools in Kochi, Japan.
