Dr Kate Erricker
Group Head Education Research and Global Partnerships @ Nord Anglia Education
About
I am an education leader with more than 20 years’ experience improving teaching, learning, and whole school performance across schools internationally and in the UK. My career has centred on helping schools build ambitious, student centred cultures grounded in evidence informed practice, collaboration, and professional trust. I currently lead high impact global programmes that bring evidence into practice at scale - strengthening metacognition, student agency, creative thinking, and academic outcomes. This includes leading Nord Anglia’s multi year research projects with Boston College and Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, exploring how essential skills such as creativity, curiosity, and compassion can be taught, assessed, and scaled across diverse school contexts. Across my career, I have led teacher professional learning, curriculum design, school improvement projects, and cross school professional communities. I am passionate about enabling teachers to thrive and designing learning environments where every student is challenged, supported, and inspired. With a PhD in Education and an MBA in Leadership, I specialise in bridging research-led insights and practical school based experience. I am motivated by creating positive cultures, building strong teams, and ensuring every student receives an exceptional education.
