I have published three full poetry collections, the latest being Circadia (UQP, 2024) and three poetry chapbooks, most recently Here Hear (Life Before Man, 2022). My second collection, Interval (UQP, 2018), won the 2019 NSW Premier's Awards Kenneth Slessor Prize (one of the most highly respected literary awards in Australia) and was a finalist in the triennial Melbourne Prize for Literature Best Writing Award in 2018. My first collection, Event (Salt, 2007), won the coveted Anne Elder award in 2008. I'm currently writing a creative nonfiction book about AI and human data. Among other subjects, I have published essays on love and self-understanding in an algorithmic age (PN Review 242, 2018), resonance and attunement in lyric poetry and neuroscience (Axon, 9.1, 2019), the development of style in Chris Wallace-Crabbe’s poetry (Antipodes, v.34, n.1, 2020), and the poetic in the sculpture of Bronwyn Oliver (Island, v.151, n.8, 2017).
