As the former ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent and co-host of GMA3, I have covered the latest news and trends in health and medicine for various platforms, including television, digital, and podcasts. I have worked in live network national television for 17 years, and thus, have a strong background in journalism and communication. I graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University and then from Columbia's Vagelos Physicians & Surgeons with an M.D. Years later, I received a Master's degree in Nutrition also from Columbia. I am double board-certified in ObGyn and Obesity Medicine. My core competencies include analyzing complex medical data, interviewing experts and sources, delivering clear and engaging stories, and collaborating with producers and editors.
