I have over 28 years’ experience (15 of which has been at the Executive and Non Executive Director level) in banking and finance, consulting and development, Currently an Executive in the Banking and Finance sector, a Nominee Non-Executive Director (on the board of investee companies) for two leading Development Finance Institutions; The FMO and Oikocredit International, an NED on several boards, and a part time faculty in Strategy and International Business of the Lagos Business School’s (LBS) DBA Program.I hold a B.A in English from the University of Lagos, an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester, an MBA in Banking and Finance from Bangor University, a DBA in Banking and Finance from the Binary University College Malaysia. I am also a Certified Islamic Finance Analyst (CIFA) and hold a Professional Certificate in Islamic Banking and Finance (PCIBF).I am an elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (FCIB), a Member Chartered Institute of Bankers Scotland (MCIBS), a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Mentoring and Career Development Institute of Nigeria.I have attended Executive Programs at INSEAD Singapore and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania as well as several Non-Executive Director Programs at the FMO Academy in The Hague.

Effective February 1, 2021, I was appointed Chairman of the Board Audit and Risk Committee of Business Partners International Africa LLC by BPIA’s Board of Directors and have since served a 4 year (two terms) as the Committee Chairman (tenor elapsed March 13, 2025). BPI East Africa (with subsidiaries in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya) is a risk finance company that supports SME growth by providing financing (debt, equity and technical assistance), specialist sectoral knowledge and added-value services to viable SMEs in sub-Saharan Africa. My following key achievements within the period were as follows; o Set-up Access Bank’s Global Financial Markets Group. o Developed Access Bank’s Affordable Housing Finance Strategy. o Transformed the Bank’s Corporate and Structured Finance business into very profitable business lines with a PBT of over N1 Billion (over US$6.6 Million) for the 2007/8 financial year. o Project Director, Access Bank’s 2007 Public Offer of N70 Billion (total Offer subscription was N240 Billion, over 242% over subscription). o Member, Access Bank’s Capital Raising Committee in charge of the Local Public Offer and the OTC GDR out of London. Received total quotes of US$1.95 Billion for a GDR offer size of US$250 Million. o Financial Advisor to the Federal Housing Authority on the National Affordable Housing Finance Scheme. The Model has since been designed and presented to Mr. President on August 21, 2007 and a high powered implementation Committee set-up. o Member Presidential Implementation Committee on Affordable Housing. o Appointed a Resource Person on Title and Mortgage Insurance to the Federal Ministry of Environment, Housing and Urban Development. o Developed the Police Barracks / Housing Finance Model for the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).

Senior Investment Officer
Seconded by Access Bank to the FMO on a one year contract to serve as a Senior Investment Officer in FMO’s Africa Department. I was a key member of the FMO Affordable Housing Team and contributed significantly to the profitability of the Africa Department’s Financial Sector cluster and the Africa Department as a whole, handling key deals in countries like Ghana, Uganda and South Africa.
