Dr. Jayashree Agarkhed (Patil)

Dr. Jayashree Agarkhed, Director FSDCA, R&D & Professor, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Dept., PDA college of Engineering, Kalaburagi have 24 years of teaching experience including research majorly in Wireless Sensor Network, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence & machine learning. By being consistent topper at her graduation obtained BE (GUG)in 1999 & M. Tech (VTU) in 2003, PhD award ( VTU) in 2013 from PDA college of Engineering. Her research works published in more than 200 articles, among which 100 articles are indexed in SCOPUS, 19 Intellectual property published including 7 Indian process patents Grant, 5 designs patents grants, authored 2 books with copyrights. Significant Contributions to research recognized by national and state-level & other organizations. To name few as a youngest woman from Kalyana Karnataka to receive prestigious KSCST “Prof. Satish Dhawan State Award for Scientists and Engineers” (2022) & VGST “State Award for Research Publication” (2018–19) from the Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of Karnataka. “ Sheyesta Akthar Memorial National Award (2021) as Best Woman Engineering College Teacher” & “Raja Ram Bapu National Award (2020) for innovations & creative work” from ISTE, New Delhi. Received fund for AICTE ATAL FDP from govt. of India. Received 18 national-level Star Award certifications from SWAYAM NPTEL (MHRD, Govt. of India), by being Topper in 18 subjects, 13 Gold & 20 Silver medals. On meeting prescribed criterion, received 4 Super Star, 4 Discipline star, 2 Motivated Learner star, 2 Believer Star, 1 Champion Star, 1 Evangelist Star, and 1 Enthusiast. Along with these Most prominent Star award received in 3 domains, Data Science domain , Patents & Intellectual proprty rights domain & faculty domain. With her guidance, many projects won project competitions organized by international-level IEEE, CSI-in APP, state level KSCST, Hackathons, etc., with funds, cash prizes & certifications, as well received Patent grant & published articles in the IEEE SPRINGER conference proceedings, Best paper & Best presentations awards.
