The team is working on regulation of skin microbiome to develop skin health and beauty products for D2C markets using prebiotics/probiotics/naturals. The aim is to deliver various BPC products in different formats for microbiome related skin health problems. Filing of IPs are in progress.

My aim is to make my all partners and customers successful with Tata MD check products. The focus area is to build capability, transfer technologies to partners laboratories, Help to set up new laboratories. Active Collaboration and validations of technologies.

Along with strong adaptability and an ability to handle size, scale, and complexity, I joined to lead the innovation for B2B and B2C brands. I am accountable to strategize and deliver innovative technologies, identify and build new business areas for future pipeline of new science and innovation on microbiome and prebiotics/probiotic /naturals. I have provided strategic insights to business objective and led customized qualitative and qualitative research projects and have managed aspects of research, define organization vision and purpose to attain desired results, with collaborative support of cross functional team members. I diviersified the business areas from F & B to skin and oral care using prebiotics and probiotics.

During my career progression with Unilever for about two decades into research and development, I have delivered success with several innovative products. I was given the leadership role to define strategic vision along with execution of innovative program with focus on long term global R&D for metabolic health using genomics, epigenomics and microbiomics approaches. Delivered new technologies for diabetes, cardiovascular health benefits using naturals/ayurvedic ingredients. My team also developed new understanding of skin/oral microbiomics, proteomics and epigenomics that led to develop new technologies/products under various brand names. I also built a global ecosystem for diabetes research for Unilever with global experts across Academia, SME, KOLs and Industrial partners.

I spearheaded the research and development for tea and health program as a single point of contact. I delivered solution for tea and health program and translated the outcome of research to a wide variety of accomplishment for skin health to metabolic health. I worked with global team members to devise future prospect plans of bioscience for Bangalore laboratory for 2015.

As a single point of contact for Global Immunology R&D for tea and foods, I played an important role in introducing new technology for producing natural care tea using herbal/ayurvedic leads. With focus on improving research quality, I established a well-equipped laboratory to conduct health research, collaborated with marketing team to work in harmony and cultivated strong professional networking with several KOLs (key opinion leaders). I was also accountable to hire and build strong team of experts for bioscience for health research. The team completed several clinical trials for various health benefits successfully from skin/oral to diabetes. I was also a trained media communicator for HUL for foods /tea business.

- Set up new laboratory and built programs for animal alternative for skin allergy which was a mandate from regulatory authority - Initiated and delivered several new technologies using naturals (Immunity /inflammation/ antimicrobials etc) which translated to new products for Ayush - Delivered the product on innate immunity for foods/ beverages unique to Unilever.
