As manager of BD I coordinate, oversee and prepare RfIs, proposals and budgets for new business opportunities. I liaise internally the different departments involved in the development process, prepare and participate in meetings with clients. Another aspect of the activity is to represent the company at congresses and seminars.

In the BD department I was responsible for the analyses of the competitive market: market potential, competitive products and technologies, epidemiology. I worked in closed collaboration with the different project managers. As IP Administrator, I managed all the patents and trademarks of the company in close collaboration with the external patent attorney. I also superintended the FTO (freedom to operate) for the different projects in the pipeline.

As scientific associate I was leading a small research group in the field of proteomics. I wrote several scientific articles in journals with and without peer review, a book chapter, and a provisional patent application. I also presented the results at national and internation scientific meetings either by oral presentations or posters. During that time, I did my PhD thesis (Proteomic studies of human lymphocytes, (Vuadens F.) 2003). In parallel to those activities, I implemented a quality control system in the research lab, certified by the norm ISO 9001:2000, and served as internal auditor.
