About
As a dedicated researcher with deep expertise in neurodegenerative disorders, I am passionate about unraveling disease mechanisms and advancing targeted diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. My PhD thesis focused on elucidating the role of optineurin gene mutations linked to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Through cellular studies and whole exome sequencing of Indian ALS patient DNA, we investigated the underlying pathways and explored innovative approaches to mitigate disease impact. In Sun Pharma, some important studies were optimised and conducted in neurodegenerative disorder field by applying some recent biological technology, and I worked as a Scientist and then also as a project investigator. Currently, I am leading techno-commercial initiatives at Topia Lifesciences Ltd. and Topia Medtech Ltd., launching a cutting-edge neurodiagnostic software designed to empower early and precise identification of neurological disorders. Driven by curiosity and a results-oriented approach, I remain committed to collaborative R&D and business development, striving to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and real-world patient care.
