Key Result Areas: Am working closely with govt. for implementing the change on policies issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for the industry. Domestically raised the different regulatory and commercial issues of Power, Renewable, Coal and Oil& Gas sectors. Also advocated for the solution of these issues with the concerned Ministries of the Government of India. Some of the remarkable achievements are following: •Liaised with the Ministry of Power, Ministries of External Affairs, Ministries of commerce and Industry, Government of India and with the Ministry of Energy, Government of Nepal for the formulation of Power Trade Agreement and Power project Agreement between India and Nepal. These agreement enhanced business opportunities for the power sector companies. • Made representations to the Government of India for Indian companies facing several business operational problems in Africa and was able to influence Government’s policy for solving these problem. • Helped Oil and gas industry for Business development in the Gulf countries. Simultaneously apprised them about the growing concerns. For this effectively liaised with the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. • Was instrumental to guide coal companies for enhanced business opportunities in abroad. • Guided Indian Energy companies how to compete with Chinese companies to gain more business opportunity and acquire energy assets. Also produced a ready manual of “Comparative Analysis of India and China Policy”.
