Baoquan received his PhD in computer graphics from the State Key Lab of Computer Science in ISCAS (Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences) in 2007. During his PhD study, he had been working as a long-term research intern at Microsoft Research Asia, performing research on realtime rendering and GPU-based parallel computing. After that he had been with the University of Bedfordshire, UK, as a Senior Research Fellow at CCGV (Centre for Computer Graphics and Visualization) for 8 years. And then, he had been with Huawei Research UK (as an Expert in Graphics Algorithm) for about 5 years. At present, he is with Tencent Games as a Senior Technical Expert in graphics and GPU computing, game engines, performance optimization (both CPU & GPU) for games. Specialties: Computer Graphics, Rendering Algorithms, Game Engines, GPU computing, GPU architecture, Data Visualization, AI and Deep Learning.
