Dr. Anupama Mishra

I am an educator, leader, and lifelong learner passionate about nurturing confident, compassionate, and future-ready individuals. As the Principal of Sunbeam School & Hostel, Varuna, I strive to create an environment where academic excellence blends with emotional well-being and innovation in learning. With a Ph.D. in English from Banaras Hindu University and over two decades in education, I have had the privilege of serving as President of Sahcharya Varanasi and Joint Secretary (PAN India) of NPSC, working collaboratively to drive educational excellence and leadership development. My journey has been enriched with experiences in 21st-century teaching practices, pastoral care, and technology in education. I am also a Cambridge-trained educator, Intel Master Trainer, and a certified Global Career Counsellor (UCLA Extension). Honoured with recognitions like the Nari Shakti Samman, Asia’s Finest Educator, and Principal of the Year, I continue to believe that true education lies in shaping not just successful students, but good human beings with purpose and empathy.
