I am a fully qualified Specialist Psychiatrist registered with the HPCSA, with a particular interest in Psychopharmacology, Anxiety, Depressive and Cognitive disorders. More recently I have developed a specific interest in the treatment and prevention of Burnout in high-functioning professionals and executives. My goal, in this regard, is to fully enhance a person's Resilience and ability to perform in extremely demanding careers and high-pressure environments. I am, however, fully trained in all areas of general psychiatry and am well placed to treat the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions. Finally, I am a published Researcher in peer-reviewed Academic Journals and psychiatric textbooks. I plan to continue my interest and contributions to research in academic medicine.
