Dr. Amet Selman

As a Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE), Global CEO of AAA Holding Group Ltd, and an active member of the International Fertilizer Association (IFA), my work is focused on advancing agriculture through innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration. I actively promote agricultural excellence by driving innovation in fertiliser production, intelligence fertilising, and NPK revolutionary methods at AAA Holding Group. These efforts align with RASE’s mission to improve farming practices and productivity. My work ensures farmers have access to cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency and sustainability. Advocating for sustainability is central to my role. I work closely with RASE, IFA, and global stakeholders to advance climate-smart agriculture and sustainable fertiliser practices. Through AAA’s projects and IFA’s global initiatives, I champion solutions that address climate change, reduce environmental impact, and improve soil health while supporting food security. I provide thought leadership and policy advice, contributing to the development of strategies that address critical challenges such as reducing emissions in agriculture. I also support education and knowledge transfer, sharing expertise on AgriTech and sustainable fertiliser use to empower farmers, researchers, and industry leaders. Collaboration is vital to my work. I engage with industry stakeholders and international organisations to influence the direction of agriculture. Representing RASE, AAA, and IFA at global and national events, I promote British agriculture and advocate for adopting world-class farming and fertiliser standards internationally. Through innovation, collaboration, and leadership, I remain committed to enhancing global agriculture and ensuring a sustainable future for the industry.

As the global CEO of AAA Holding Group, I spearhead the company’s vision, setting strategic priorities that foster innovation and drive growth on a worldwide scale. With my dual role as the CEO for our UK and North American branches , I champion cross-regional collaboration, ensuring operational excellence and maintaining our commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our stakeholders. Through dynamic leadership, I continuously cultivate a culture of excellence, empowering teams to exceed in our mission and ensuring AAA Holding Group’s lasting legacy on the global stage.

For its first project the committee is looking into ‘AI Driven Agriculture and Sustainable Use of Fertilisers’. Dr Selman will gather interested IBBC Members and external experts to draw up a plan to dramatically improve agricultural practices throughout Iraq. AI driven soil testing is to be used to map Iraq’s farmland and decide what kind and amount of fertilisers are required to obtain optimal yields. The intention is to improve dramatically Iraq’s food production using British and international best practice by deploying cutting edge technologies. Dr Selman will personally oversea the work of the committee and drive forward its implementation. Iraq has been for thousands of years one of the world’s most fertile countries. In recent decades, due to conflict and an overpowering import-based oil economy, Iraq has suffered a massive decline of its once flourishing agricultural sector. For several years IBBC has been discussing improvements to Iraq’s agricultural practices with members and UK and international institutions, including the Agri Epi Centre, Henry Doubleday centre, British Water, and the World Food Programme, and with both the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture and the Kurdish Regional Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.
