Dr. AbdelKareem Al Kadomi

Dr. Abdelkareem Al Kadomi Chief Legal and Governance Officer | Abdul Latif Jameel Motors Dr. Al Kadomi serves as the Chief Legal and Governance Officer at ALJ Motors, where he leads the organization’s legal and corporate governance functions. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he provides strategic legal counsel and drives the development of governance frameworks that uphold integrity, accountability, and legal compliance across the company’s operations. In this role, Dr. Al Kadomi focuses on enhancing corporate governance practices, overseeing all legal affairs, and advising the Board and the leadership team on key legal strategic initiatives within the automotive sector. Prior to joining ALJ Motors, Dr. Al Kadomi served as the Chief Legal & Assurance Officer at ALJ Enterprises, where he managed the legal and assurance (governance, risk and compliance) functions across the company’s diversified subsidiaries. He was also responsible for corporate governance and Sharia compliance and served as the Board Secretary, contributing to the institutionalization of strong governance framework. Dr. Alkadomi had also served other ALJ entities including the real estate development, the machinery and heavy equipments and others. Before joining ALJ, he held senior legal leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Legal at Damac Properties in Dubai and Group Chief Legal Officer at National Holding Group in Abu Dhabi. Earlier in his career, he served as a judge at the Amman North Court and held senior legal positions with Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Jordan Commercial Bank, and Arab Insurance Company in Jordan. With over 33 years of experience across the GCC and MENA regions, Dr. Al Kadomi brings extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, real estate development, franchising, construction and many others. He holds a PhD with honors in e-Banking Laws, a Master’s degree in Civil Procedure Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in General Law.
