Project : Feasibility study for migrating an on-premise infrastructure to the public cloud Tasks : - Conducted an in-depth analysis to evaluate the technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of migrating to the public cloud. - Designed and simulated the on-premise infrastructure using VirtualBox and Vagrant to replicate a realistic IT environment. - Automated infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices. - Implemented configuration management processes with Ansible for post-deployment automation. - Versioned and maintained infrastructure and automation scripts using GitHub. - Built and deployed a basic CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. - Deployed cloud resources on Microsoft Azure, the selected public cloud platform for the migration.
