I held the engineering project manager position for the Cougar platform at GDLS - Force Protection in Ladson (Charleston), SC. I managed the various projects that fall under the Cougar platform. Typical responsibiilties included: creating Integrated Master Schedules, resourcing, risk management, Earned Value reporting, proposals and bases of estimates, and execution of projects. I am PMP certified and manage the projects under the PMBOK guidelines.

After taking Senior configuration management role for a couple of years I have been moved over to Senior Project Engineer to lead projects to fruition.

Worked in Centrally Managed Projects Department doing project controls/project management for Transmission and Substation projects.

Using my intelligence to add value: read prints, research information, instantaneous risk analysis, thought and decision leader. Work is not hard, just use your brain and solve problems. Communicate solutions clearly and concisely. Know your audience. Train and be trained. It's really that simple...it doesn't need to be complicated.

Those with engineering degrees know that there's not much else to do except engineering (when it comes to school). In my free time I saw plenty of live music and went to the mountains for snowboarding, hiking, climbing, etc.
