My role within the company has given me a breadth of new experience and skills. I liaise with clients that are spending more than a million pounds and conduct independent viewings on houses worth up to £700,000 both in the city and country. I play a large role in generating new business for the company by gaining new instructions, building relationships with vendors and buyers, creating and publishing advertisements for the public on behalf of the company. I have learnt how to work independently and have enjoyed the customer and client facing roles.

Over the summer of 2018 I worked full-time on the Tracklements production floor. Tracklements make a range of award-winning chutneys under their own label as well as for Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nicholls, Waitrose etc. I worked as part of team to ensure the internationally-sold products were made to the highest standard. I frequently had to use initiative in this job as my supervisors were often busy. This experience taught me the importance of product quality, the importance of being punctual, reliable and the ability to work effectively without constant supervision.

My time with Rathbones Green Bank was particularly interesting as I spent my time with the Green Bank Branch which dealt exclusively with ethical and sustainable investment solutions. Such a dynamic investment strategy I feel really stands out as it takes account of the growing pressures for companies to adhere to social responsibility. During my time with Rathbones I aided employees in research tasks allowing me to hone my practical and research skills and work as part of a team in the office environment, and finally gaining valuable understanding of the industry from employees of one of the UK's leading providers of investment management services. Working with Savills was incredibly valuable as I was given the opportunity to shadow agents and observe the professional nature in which they carried themselves and the high level of customer service provided.
