Hayward Industries, Inc - Pomona, CA A Leading global manufacturer and marketer of residential, commercial pool, spa equipment and industrial flow control products. - Production Planner for the molding department (34 injection molding machines), skimmers, spare parts, cleaner lines, pool sweep, and inter-company molded parts. - Played integral role in the shutdown of Hayward Pool Products Pomona Division. Planned buildup for lines being moved. - Reduced, transferred, sold or eliminated existing stock of finished goods, WIP and raw materials. - Developed a detailed Capacity Plan for Pomona. - Outsourced molds with custom molders to negate production shutdown. - Hayward champion for successful implementation of Viewlocity advanced planning software. Viewlocity allowed Hayward to more easily execute a smoothed production plan for a seasonal business. Sunrider International – City of Industry, CA A manufacturer of health, beauty, food, and household products at four manufacturing plants: California, China, Singapore, and Taiwan. - Master Scheduler/Planner for food products at City of Industry plant (17 departments and over 1,000 finished good SKU's). Planned manpower and capacity requirements. Maintained forecast for food raw materials. - Worked closely with department supervisors to ensure timely completion of production orders. - Wrote purchase orders for materials needed for food production and interacted with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery. - Initiated use of MRP/MPS and as a result, increased inventory turns, reduced back orders, improved productivity, and increased order accuracy.
